Our Verdict
The Times Gate brings a distinct, futuristic flair to any desk setup, effectively merging utility with high-end pixel art displays. I spent a week testing its integration into my workspace, focusing on how its unique hardware performs as both a clock and a decorative companion.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality of the Times Gate is immediately impressive, featuring a sturdy chassis that feels built to last in a high-intensity environment. The five individual LCD screens are crisp, offering vivid color reproduction for pixel animations that truly pop against the matte casing. It feels like a premium piece of gear that avoids the cheap plastic aesthetic often found in lesser desk gadgets.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the clock was a breeze thanks to the intuitive smart app, which handled the WiFi connection in under two minutes. Navigating the pixel art library and customizing the display widgets became a daily highlight, as the interface is snappy and remarkably user-friendly even for those who aren't tech-savvy.
This is the ultimate accessory for gamers, streamers, or tech-focused professionals looking to add a personalized, cyberpunk-inspired visual anchor to their desk.
Final Thoughts
The Times Gate is easily one of the most compelling desk accessories I have used, earning a perfect 5/5 rating for its seamless performance and visual impact. At 199.00, it provides a high-quality, customizable experience that feels well worth the investment for any dedicated gaming setup.
